As part of our Middlebury Tennis Family, you have been an integral and important aspect of our team’s progress and success and we want to start by thanking you for all you do to support our team! We have many reasons to be optimistic about the upcoming season as our rich team culture and current leadership are humming!Coming off our sixth straight Final Four appearance at the NCAA team championships, our senior captains are leading the charge to put in the sustained effort required to again position our team for another championship run. We returned four of our six singles players from last year’s lineup, but much growth and development is necessary to replace our top two singles players who recently graduated. That said, we have already been thrilled with our freshman class and the passion, work ethic, and togetherness they have brought to our current group.In the classroom, 13 of our 14 players were identified as Academic All-Americans last year. We look forward to continuing to provide our players with an incredibly competitive, challenging and fun environment during their college tennis journeys.Our Spring Break trip has been a critical component to building our team culture and strengthening our bonds. We are incredibly fortunate that friends of men’s tennis have consistently stepped up to support the team, and I am asking for your support again this year. We need to raise a total of $30,000 to help cover the cost of our spring break training trip. To do so, we rely on the generosity of alumni, friends, and family to make participating in men’s tennis affordable for all of our team members. We look forward to continuing to make our student-athlete’s Middlebury College and tennis team journey one they will never forget —experiences that last a lifetime and that prepare them to fully engage with our complex world.
