Our work celebrates the love, labor, and learning in the garden, which continues to evolve. At the Knoll, we root our work in celebrating connection and dismantling oppression. On the ground, this looks like ensuring equitable access, opportunities, and programming in alignment with the college’s Land Acknowledgment and partners across campus.
The Knoll offers three main program areas: the Educational Garden, the Outdoor Kitchen, and the Serenity Garden. We host students, faculty, staff, and our local community for classes, research, garden volunteer hours, internships, and events. The Knoll has retained its nimble and creative roots relying on off-the-grid and sustainable technology while operating without electricity or solar energy storage. We rely on philanthropic support to continue to upgrade our infrastructure and expand our programming and impact. Please consider making a gift to support the important and uniquely Middlebury work we do.
