1968: Baby Boomers' Legacy Zoom

Wednesday, February 1, 2023 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Please join members of the Class of 1968 as we discuss observations and insights about the Baby Boomers’ Legacy Wednesday, February 1, 2023 5:00 p.m. EST Registration information can be found below, highlighted in yellow. Remember Freshman year the intensity of dinner table discussions in Proctor Hall? Our “mature” selves may not be as loud, but we’re just as committed. Today we bring the wisdom of wide-ranging experience and appreciation of many points of view to our upcoming Zoom Session. No doubt the hour will move quickly. • As the leading edge of the “Baby Boomers,” how has our class and our contemporaries impacted the world? • What have we initiated and/or enhanced that has changed the way people live, work, and play? • What has been our role in the “digital” revolution? • What will be our legacy? Four of our classmates have agreed to share their observations about discoveries, changes, (or lack of changes) in their chosen fields of work over the past 50 plus years and how those changes impact the general population. Charlotte (Chickie) Sibley – Business Kip Sluder –Science research Judy Goodrich Arvold – Health care Peter Knobler – Cultural/political/intellectual contributions Each of the panelists will speak briefly, then audience members will have an opportunity to add their observations and insights. _______________________________ You are invited to a Zoom meeting. When: Feb 1, 2023 05:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) Register in advance for this meeting:
